Phenomena emerge where the ordinary gaze falters, fleeting moments hovering at the boundary between the real and the invisible. Photography and video become instruments to capture what everyday life erases, traces that seem to belong to another realm. Light, movement, time, and matter confront and intertwine, creating atmospheres both strange and familiar, imbued with an unsettling strangeness, reminiscent of what spirit photography sought to freeze: the elusive made tangible, almost palpable. Les phénomènes surgissent là où le regard ordinaire se perd, instants fugitifs flottant à la frontière du réel et de l’invisible. La photographie et la vidéo deviennent des instruments pour capturer ce que le quotidien efface, des traces qui semblent appartenir à un autre ordre. La lumière, le mouvement, le temps et la matière s’y confrontent et se mêlent, créant des atmosphères étranges et familières, d’une inquiétante étrangeté, proches de ce que la spirit photography cherchait à figer : l’insaisissable rendu tangible, presque palpable.
